About

Government, business, and community — working together, with integrity.

Abrahim Javed grew up in Beaumont, Texas, in a family that has long been active in their community — his parents helped elect the first Black woman mayor of their hometown. That early exposure to civic life stuck with him.

He earned his Master in Professional Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin in 2022, where he led a student-run nonprofit and worked across government, business, and philanthropy. Along the way, he volunteered on Beto O'Rourke's 2018 Senate campaign, interned in the office of the U.S. Senate Minority Leader, and fundraised for Senator Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Joe Biden during the 2020 election.

Today, Abrahim is Vice President of Riceland Healthcare, where he helps lead a system delivering high-quality, personalized care to thousands of Texans — including rural communities in the southeast that are too often overlooked. He is also Co-Founder and COO of CharityStack, a platform purpose-built for modern nonprofits, and a former candidate for Fort Bend County Commissioner, Precinct 3.

The work looks different on paper — a hospital system, a tech company, a campaign — but it's driven by the same conviction: government, business, and nonprofits have to work hand in hand if communities are going to actually be served. That's the thread through everything he does.
